Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd. (Formerly known as Bajaj Corp Ltd.) is part of the Bajaj Group, founded by Jamnalal Bajaj. The history of Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd. (BCCL) dates to 1953 when Mr. Kamalnayan Bajaj established Bajaj Sevashram to market and sell hair oils and other beauty products. We are the second-largest entity in the Shishir Bajaj Group of companies and are listed both in the NSE & BSE. We are one of the leading players in the Hair Oil category with brands like Bajaj Almond Drops, Bajaj Brahmi Amla, Bajaj Amla and Bajaj Jasmine. Our flagship brand Bajaj Almond Drops Hair Oil is the No. 1* hair oil in the Indian market with premium positioning and commands 50%+ market share in its category. We also own and distribute “No Marks” brand of skin and hygiene care.
Our distribution is spread across India with Corporate Office situated in Mumbai and manufacturing units at Poanta Sahib (Himachal Pradesh), Selaqui (Uttarakhand) and Guwahati (Assam). Our international presence is represented by our Subsidiary offices in UAE & Bangladesh.

BCCL is perhaps one of the few organisations which gives its employees, a freedom to work according to their strengths. As a mid-management employee, I can directly interact with the Chairman, Managing Director, Directors and senior leadership of the company. This has inculcated a sense of belongingness, pride, sincerity and punctuality in my approach towards my work. Work does not feel like a burden due to the flexibility that BCCL provides through its policies. When I look back at the 10 years spent at Bajaj Consumer Care, I feel blessed to have learnt so much along the way which has provided a sustainable growth in my professional career.
I have been with BCCL for more than 6 years and have seen myself grow as a professional in more than one way. My journey through these years has been quite gratifying. From handling individual categories to leading entire product development, I have had opportunities which have nurtured me professionally. I am associated with Bajaj Consumer Care as Sales Manager for over 13 years. I have had good opportunity to learn and grow. After having completed so many years in this company, it feels like my second home. The leadership team has always focused on understanding the actual pulse of the market. My journey with Bajaj Consumers began last year – it has been a fulfilling experience, nurturing a team of high performers and together writing new growth stories for the channel and organisation month on month. It’s been an incredible 18 months at BCCL as Head of Planning & Distribution. It’s fun embracing new challenges when you have amazing colleagues and teammates. BCCL has been like a closely-knit team with a work culture that fosters empowerment and innovation. For me, setting up new processes and building teams has been a wonderful learning experience. Also, it feels great when you are appreciated for your efforts, and it’s icing on the cake when you and your team win multiple awards at the company’s annual conference.
It has been an absolutely fascinating journey over the last 5 years steering some critical responsibilities from setting up the Sales HR vertical for Domestic Business to managing Corporate HR. Each of the roles has given me the opportunity to deliver with lots of independence & empowerment & most importantly ‘trust’. The support that you get from the leadership team in BCCL is amazing & it feels great winning the prestigious ‘GOLD STAR’ award on a national platform where you see that all your hard work & efforts are getting recognised. I have been with Bajaj Consumer Care for about 2 years now & in my tenure I have handled varied roles of Brand Management, Digital Marketing & Performance Marketing.
